Riverbirch Yoga is simply and deeply a study of YOU.

Riverbirch Yoga includes but goes beyond the time you spend on a Yoga mat moving, breathing, and meditating. In fact, Riverbirch Yoga wholistically embraces one's full life experience.

While you might come to open your body, you might discover your heart opening as well. Although you walk in the door expecting to gain increased physical flexibility and strength, you may walk out the door feeling more flexible and strong in your mind and spirit. When you look to quiet your mind, you may end up with more energy than you knew you had!

Riverbirch Yoga offers you space to be with yourself....to do the work you need to do to feel more alive, healthier, at peace, able to take the next step, centered within your own personal Truth.

Riverbirch Yoga invites you into the world of Sadhana (personal Path and Practices) which wholistically reaches into your spiritual and creative self as well as the body you live in! Off the mat, we offer opportunities to explore varied naturally expressive options including play, movement, study, energy sensing and sharing, community, soundings, drumming, meditation, herbs, Ayurveda, dance, clay, writing, collage, nature ... all expressed and explored with a freeing Yogic spirit...

I welcome you to Riverbirch, a unique Yoga location set in Nature and to Riverbirch Yoga, a unique Yoga experience springing from simple roots....

Welcome to 2012!

Our weekly Yoga studies have no set fees. You are asked to pay as you are able and called.

"Yoga on and off the Mat" . . .

Mornings

Thursdays 9:30-11am AM Yoga - take time for yourself in the midst of your busy-ness ... breathe, release, open, move, and strengthen ... postures, breathwork, meditation ....

Evenings

See info about 10-week Course,"Sadhana - Practices for Conscious, Centered Living," being offered during the weekly Monday classtimes 6-8:30pm from 2/6-4/9 which are open to ALL! You are welcome to come for one class or for the entire series ... just let us know your intentions.

Mondays, 6-7pm Yoga on the Mat - time to drop into body and breath with postures & breathing, fluid movement, meditation, stillness,...

Mondays, 7-8:30pm Lovin' the Light Satsangha - a Yogic study circle for anyone ready to commit to personal Sadhana (Individual Path and Practice,) to an ongoing group of committed students much like yourself, and to a deepening study of You. While allowing for a natural and organic "in the present moment" agenda, the circle draws from group sharing from individual spiritual journeys..... You are most welcome!

Thursdays, 6-7:30pm Yoga on the Mat - time to drop into body and breath with postures & breathing, fluid movement, meditation, stillness,... Weekly "CAP" focus on core, asana, pranayama

Weekend

Second Saturdays (once-a-month)

1st Quarter Dates: 1/14 ~ 2/11 ~ 3/10

"Reunion at 8" ... 8-10am Yoga with Live Drumming ... An energizing and stilling experience of Yoga on the Mat with live drumming and varied opportunities for circle drumming & chanting along with Yoga asana/pranayama, meditation.

 

4th Saturdays (once-a-month)

1st Quarter Dates: 1/28 ~ 2/25 ~ 3/24

Meditation Study ... 8-9:30am with Kennon - learn how meditation can bring your life back to center, still your mind and heart, open you to Oneness. Please REGISTER AHEAD so we know who to expect!

 

Also happening . . .

 

  • Bellydance Wednesdays! with Sultana beginning 1/18, 6:30pm $10/class - no series commitment but please let us know what classes you will attend

  • Monthly Drum Circle with Kennon: 6:30pm 1 Sunday per month ... January 22, February 19, and March 18
